Estate Chardonnay was the first wine made at Foxes Island in 1992 and was one of four NZ single vineyard Chardonnay's at the time. Sustainably produced and gently handled, the juice is fermented over 12 months by indigenous yeasts in large French oak barrels.  After bottling, the wine is allowed to age in the cellars prior to release. Always produced in small volumes, the wine is always highly regarded by critics and wine lovers alike. Enjoy with grilled fish, roast chicken, savoury mushrooms, quiches and frittatas.  Serve at 15°C
